Quality Admin (Part-Time, 30 Hours/Week)

A growing manufacturing team is seeking a Quality Admin to support quality operations, engineering changes, and documentation systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, operations, and quality teams.


About the Role

The Quality Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across quality systems and engineering change processes. This position supports the creation, maintenance, and reporting of Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs), manages document control, supports new part setup, and ensures key data is accurate and up to date.


Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and process Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) for all new parts
  • Track ECN status and follow up to ensure timely completion and accuracy
  • Monitor ECN reports and communicate missing information to quality team members
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, operations, and quality to maintain accurate technical documentation
  • Understand product and part specifications in partnership with sales
  • Participate in daily production/quality staff meetings
  • Document errors, track corrective actions, and support continuous improvement activities
  • Collect, organize, and maintain compliance, certification, and system requirement documents
  • Maintain company document databases and documentation control systems
  • Complete router setup for new part numbers in an ERP/MRP system (GSS or similar)
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand change requirements
  • Perform additional administrative and quality support tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required
  • 2+ years of administrative, quality support, or documentation control experience (manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data entry, documentation, and change management
  • Experience with ECN processes, document control, or quality systems highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as GSS, SAP, Oracle, or similar a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Schedule & Pay

  • Schedule: 9am to 3pm (flexible, 30 hours per week)
  • Pay: $24-27/hour (DOE)
